Chicago, Illinois Jun 9, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - The Chicago-born filmmaker, musician, and actor first gained recognition for contributing music to Spike Lees Chi-Raq, but it was his directorial debut, Primary Position, that solidified his place as a creative force. Featuring Omar Gooding, Kris Lofton, and Jamal Woolard, the film made waves on Amazon Prime and Tubi, earning attention for its storytelling and grassroots success.
Now, Amparan is gearing up for his next major release: Hello Grace, expected Winter 2025. Written by and starring Robert himself, the film also features Wild N Outs Justina Valentine. The project blends authenticity with mainstream appeal, proving that independent film can rival studio-backed projects in both scope and substance.
Amparans rise is powered by vision, not connections. No studio deal. No Hollywood shortcuts. Just relentless strategy and execution.
I didnt get a seat at the tableso I built my own, says Amparan. And now the industry is paying attention.
