New Financial Wealth Building Program for Women Launched

Franklin, Virginia Oct 1, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - A new wealth building program has been developed to help women achieve their wealth and health goals. The RRFund Wealth Accelerator Program is a newly established with affordable and accessible solutions for women who have not had exposure to financial wealth building programs.

The 12-month program includes the following elements:

• 20 weeks of intense financial management education classes with certified financial experts
• 20 weeks of activation lab exposure to assess concepts and activities taught in the education class
• Customized financial readiness plans for application by program participants
• Quarterly, one-on-one financial coaching in 30-minute sessions by certified financial experts
• Registration at an exclusive national financial management retreat with targeted cohort engagement and communities
• Registration at a financial management summit
• Online educational resources, including customized tools to enhance your financial journey
• Specialized coaching by psychologists and medical doctors that promote sustainable health and wellness of program participants

Data show the following exist regarding income disparities and wealth gaps for women:

• On average, Black and Hispanic women have substantially lower wealth than white women. For instance, single Black women have a median wealth of $200, compared to $15,640 for single white women (Hegewisch, Williams-Baron, & Harbin, 2018).
• Women of color earn less than white women and men. Black women earn 63 cents and Hispanic women earn 57 cents for every dollar earned by white men (Hegewisch, Williams-Baron, & Harbin, 2018).
• Only 36% of women of color report having a high level of financial literacy (Lusardi & Mitchell, 2011).

The RRFund Wealth Accelerator Program is an expansion of the groundbreaking RRFund Investment Club, which over three years has raised and invested more than $1.7 million.
